I've been figuring a lot out this week. I've learned a lot about love and God's love and forgiveness. I've learned that there are a lot of people that care about me a lot, and that I'm not alone. I've learned that as crappy as I think I am, I'm not the only sinner in the world. ...and I've learned that if you post a silly video of your self singing on myspace, you just might find your self in the news paper!
Unemployed for two weeks and accused by his roommate of “not doing anything,” Patrick Hawks, 20, made a movie and put it online to prove a point. “I made it just to show I didn’t sleep all day,” Hawks says. The 90-second video on his MySpace.com page features Hawks singing and dancing to “Somebody to Love” while in his family room and shower. It has been viewed more than 200 times — most likely by complete strangers as well as some of Hawks’ friends.
